2012 U.S. Birds of Prey First Class Postage Stamps

On February 22, 2012, in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Postal Service issued the Four Flags First-Class Mail Forever® stamps, priced at 45 cents. Released in four designs, they were available in both a pressure-sensitive adhesive booklet of 20 and a coil of 100.

Continuing its long tradition of honoring the Stars and Stripes, this striking series features a bright, vivid U.S. flag set against a clean white background. Each of the four stamps proudly displays a single, powerful word in bold letters: Freedom, Liberty, Equality, and Justice — the core ideals on which the nation was built.
